Announcing Sunstone 2007 Seattle and Boston Symposiums

We are incredibly excited to announce two upcoming Sunstone Symposiums:

  • Sunstone Seattle on 10/13/2007 (with a workshop on the night of 10/12/2007): Details here. Registration should be available in the next few days.
  • Sunstone Boston on 11/3/2007: Please mark your calendars. We are working on the program and venue now. We are hoping to draw from speakers in the Northeast, so if you have ideas for speakers or topics, please advise. Also, if you think there’s a good chance that you will be coming, please let us know either in email, or on the blog — so that we can arrange the appropriate venue to match the audience size.

Finally, we’d be thrilled to help plan/facilitate a “Bloggersnacker” in either of these areas if anyone is interested (one may already be in the works in Seattle — I’m checking on that). In Boston, the Friday night before or the Saturday evening after might be candidates for gettogethers. We’re also interested in some type of Sunday morning devotional in either city if there’s interest/demand.

    Regarding the Boston Symposium, I would like to get information (within a couple of days) about the program and venue so I can help publicize the event for you at our Affirmation GLBT Mormon Conference this weekend in Washington DC. I am a member of the conference committee and would love to pass out a flyer or some type of literature to the attendees. The conference registration begins Friday afternoon, October 5th, and I would like to have information to pass out then. if you have an e-copy that would be wonderful and I can reproduce it locally!

  3. I’d love to see a report on the Seattle sessions, particularly the one on the new LDS pamphlet regarding homosexuality. I was unable to attend, as I’ve been busy rehearsaing with a country-western dance performing group that I’m invovled with, which is performing next weekend in San Francisco.

  7. I’d be happy to provide that, Matt, but the person who was SUPPOSED to provide a video camera forgot to charge the batteries!! ARGH!! We might have a lead on someone else who videotaped, and if I get it, I promise to provide a link. :-)
